Normally I write a little blurb for the holidays, but with the release of SWTOR and having time with the family over the holidays I havent had much chance. With the servers being down and nothing to do at work first thing in the morning Ill take this time now to address the guild for this holiday season.
This year was a special one for Conviction and its community. We saw the building of a couple factions within namely FFXIV and Rift. We saw many successes in Final Fantasy as Zettai took the helm and developed as a great leader within the community. We also saw Rift develop into a progression "mid-core" raiding machine with Nadili taking up the reigns and turning things around there.
I feel now that we are truly a multi game community, something we have worked for together for the past few years. SWTOR is incredibly fresh but we have seen a number of great accomplishments thusfar while taking the game casually for the most part until the holidays are over.
Most importantly we have seen many old faces from the younger years of the Conviction community come back to enjoy this new game together. That just shows the strength and values this community holds.
For this next year and chapter in Conviction, lets all try to remember whats important at the end of the day and thats the community we have with the people that are involved. No in game accomplishment can overcome what we have as a community and nothing will ever come in between the bonds that have been built.
