[TERA] Community Event #3 Team Deathmatch!

This last Sunday, the TERA chapter of Conviction held its third community event. With the success of our Fight Club event two weeks past, we decided to continue with the PVP theme. This time, on a much grander scale. Team Deathmatch saw a massive turn-out from just about every major guild on the server. Video and pics at the jump:

Misora was present to capture the evening as it unfolded. Velika itself was too small to hold this epic event...

So we took it outside to the grassy knolls of Arcadia, which would soon run red with the blood of the fallen.

We had so many participants, we had to shoo a few unwelcome visitors off...

With the undesireables scattered, the battle was on. Even our proud Shiby was a casualty of war.

Much fun was had by everyone who attended. Element MC'd the event and had time to pose with some of the other Elin participants:

We have decided to close our doors on Rift. With many new bright and exciting opportunities down the road with TSW, GW2 and the recent release of D3 and Tera, we felt it would be best if we moved on from continually having to build and find solid players to be able to keep raiding.

Much thanks to those that stayed dedicated to the very end and we will see you sometime soon in another game.

Special thanks to those dedicated officers and of course Nadili for making the Con Rift chapter what it was and showing us that girls can be successful guild leaders as well. Rift lasted longer than we had hoped and/or expected and we thank you all for your loyalty and dedication.

A long waited period is over and time for the fun to begin. I just wanted to wish everyone good luck on the release and post some info relevant to the release tonight.

1. Please use the tag style of cg.SandalTanTheMan emphasis on cg.

2. For the server choose "The Americas"

3. Please have fun and be respectful to everyone

4. Any further questions feel free to ask Aldier or Sandal Tan

5. Once we have some playtime into the game, spots will open up for Leadership roles, let me know if you are interested.

6. Kick ass and represent Conviction to its fullest

Our goal for the time being is to just level and learn. Once we get closer to maxing and inferno the real fun begins!

[TERA] Conviction Community Event #2 Race Across Arborea 5/6/12

This last Sunday, the TERA Chapter of Conviction held our second server-wide community event: a foot race across the land. Here's the video at the jump:

Support.Beaver of Best in Show was the overall winner! Congratulations!

After all the participants crossed the finish line beach head, we gathered them all up for a Blightwood community picture!

Diablo on 3 is a show dedicated to mainly to gaming in general with a focus on D3.

It is hosted by Ajax, a Conviction community member that has been around for quite some time and has done some stuff. Quiz is a co-host and he is a popular Conviction community member who has also done even more stuff.

In all seriousness though (if that even exists here) they have put in a lot of time and effort into getting this going, so show them some support. Below is a link to the vids.

[TERA] Conviction Community Fight Club Event 4/30/12

On the last day of Head Start, the TERA chapter of Conviction held its first community event for the Blightwood server: Fight Club. This event brought together many players across the entire level spectrum to compete with their peers on the bloodsands of Velika's arena. To the victors went the spoils - EXP potions purchased with our own guild tokens. The turnout for the event was even better than anticipated with over 50 players in attendance; either fighting directly or cheering on their favorites. For those who were unable to attend the event, we've put together a video of the carnage:

Even after all the announcing, Element still had some time to get a fight in with Skeebo - Best in Show's guild master.

The fight ended up being a tie because it went into overtime. Skeebo looks whipped...

[FFXIV] Conviction dives into Patch 1.22

Within minutes of patch 1.22, Conviction was getting into the thick of things... at least until the servers came crashing down and reset our progress. Here are two vids of the new Grand Company content - namely the Magitek fight and the Primal Avatar: Garuda.

Our raid team is hard at work mastering The Howling Eye (Hard) for the Garuda Weapons, so stay tuned for news of our victory.

P.S. Wapi is such a slave diver in the second vid. :)

[RIFT] Infernal Dawn is here... 1/8 already!?!

After what seemed like an eternity, the new 20 man raid Infernal Dawn came out last week... And yes we have an update already! The first boss, Warmaster Drak, which is really a boss, a bunch of mini bosses and about 100 adds, got dropped on our 3rd night of progression.

Infernal Dawn is both a fire and earth zone, the fire wing is the first available side to take. After Warmaster Drak are 3 mini bosses, two of which we have killed and were only stopped by a bug on the third one ( DAMN YOU TRION ). Looking forward to the new content and lots of updates. HK you have grown stale.... bring on ID!

[TERA] Conviction Finishes off OBT with BAM Raid. Server First?

At the close of this TERA's Open Beta Test/Pre-Order Head-Start this week, Conviction decided to hunt for some big game before the server went down. We found our target in Solrachnus - a level 39 BAM (Big Ass Monster). With a level cap of 32 and no raid grouping due to party size restriction, we were in for one hell of a fight. After a protracted fight with many, many deaths, we emerged victorious. Some wonderful teamwork were highlighted in this video and quite a few near wipes. Here's the complete video for your perusal:

The only thing missing from the video are our Mystics shouting "I wanna dip my balls in it!"
Seriously, the amount of marbles on the beach were insane....

Great job again everyone who came out to show their support! Only a few more days till Head-Start!

[Tera] Conviction Rolls into Tera

This is an exciting time for Conviction as we have decided to build a Tera chapter within our Community.

The Chapter will be lead by Element, MenaceJDM and Freebird (Kaia from our FFXIV Chapter). The idea was brought forth when Kaia mentioned that he and some friends were running a guild in Tera so we thought it might work out better for both sides if we work together and run under the Conviction banner.

Im very intrigued thus far with the information posted for Tera and cant wait to see how things go come launch.

Welcome aboard all those Tera players coming over and best of luck in this new venture!

[FFXIV] Five-chest Aurum Vale

We finally decided to attempt a five-chest run yesterday - I know, welcome to March right? But better late than never.

It took three or four attempts, but we pulled it off with two recruits, a new tank, everyone's favorite drunken lalafell, and an Aryden <3. Yeah, we're that good.

Well when you are clearing 10/11 in one night..... there is nothing left to do but strip down to your skivvies and raid.

Akylios update: We have the first two phases down pat and almost got through the third phase on Monday.... then onto the difficult part of phase four. 6 full hours of pulls on him this week, looking forward to some more progression and another update soon!!
