-= Conviction =-

Another year comes to an end which means its time to take a look back on the things we did as a group and where we stand now.

2009 brought us into a game we said we would never play together as a guild, World of Warcraft. At first it was just a small idea of something to do on the side from Warhammer and turned into a fairly well oiled machine focused on end game raid progression.

We started off with 5 mans and getting geared, more people came on board and by february we were running 25's with another guild and decided we would push to recruit to be able to do more. We did alot in a short time and maybe that push burnt alot of us out but it was fun and we had a blast. Unfortunately real life things came up and WoW just turned out to not be the game for us, again.

The second half of the year saw the guild split between games, people playing in other guilds in other games just to have something to do. We tried Aion and that was fun for awhile but nothing spectacular.

Sometimes we need to take a step back to realize the things we had. For me playing with other guilds has made me appreciate the people and the systems we created in the guild and knowing nothing else will ever compare.

What will 2010 bring for Conviction? I know we are all over the place doing our own things for the most part but deep down we are all still Conviction and we will be a group again in another game. The hopes are SWTOR will release this year and hopefully that is a game we can all enjoy as a team and work together once again and be the guild we all know and love.

To all of those that have ever been a part of Conviction, and especially those that are still a part of Conviction and maybe even those that tried to be a part of Conviction and just didnt cut it, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

Maybe 2010 will bring another adventure into the unknown once again.
