FFXIV RECRUITMENT - TRABIA SERVER
Conviction has been together over 3 years now. It was created to be an everlasting multi game community. We pride ourselves on having fun while being highly successful in every game we take on. Members in Conviction will have a minimum of 5 years of playing MMO’s and will have an advanced understanding of game mechanics and social dynamics within.
We have had great success in games such as LoTRO, EQ2, Warhammer, WoW, and League of Legends. In LoTRO we dominated Shadows of Angmar with all Raid World Firsts and many instance World Firsts. In EQ2 we put together a small group that leveled up and built an end game raid guild within a month of starting. In Warhammer we were the top guild on our server and recognized by Warcry for our efforts. WoW was kind of a side thing that no one really wanted to do but was the only option to keep us playing together but we managed a lot of success raiding together for the short time we played.
We are looking to build the community further with FFXIV. Conviction focuses on community first and the people that help maintain what the guild is. Members and even recruits alike can enjoy all benefits the guild has to offer. You will find that the people in the guild are the most helpful you will ever meet in any game and the atmosphere is second to none.
Conviction is an adult guild, we look for mature players with a sense of humor. If you are offended easily this will not be the place for you as we take trolling one another as a way to release the stresses of the MMO lifestyle. We are all avid gamers with great skill and look for the same in any new player we bring in. We expect everyone to have positive attitudes no matter the circumstance. We take losing as a learning experience, not a defeat.
If you are looking for a solid community that has been together through it all, Conviction is the place for you. Thanks for your consideration

Comments1 After some painful hours trying to convince Blood Queen Lana'thel that she was on farm, we healed that other dragon up and got our first serious night on 25m Sindragosa!
Although we managed to push her into phase 2 by our 2nd or 3rd attempt, tensions were high. Blame was being thrown around liberally, nabs trolling was at an all time high, and some people couldn't handle it.

Officer chat was on fire...

.
Shad snapped and ragelogged

We figured he would take his meds and sleep it off like usual. But not this time...the next day we log in to find this:

.
This goes on for pages....
Result:

This is the THIRD time we've been robbed. It seems our constant heckling of Shad for his age and conservatism finally pushed him over the edge. When I heard about it through the forums I rushed home from work to help deal with the situation.

.
As Conviction's official fall-guy, being blamed for the robbery from the moment I log in is something I've come to expect
Once again we are left with no enchanting mats, flasks, BoE raid drops, or anything else worth taking from the bank. Luckily he did not have access to our gold.

Comments3 Three years ago today, a time before time existed...a guild was created to defeat the mighty throng...
Sorry got caught up in the moment lets try that again.
Three years ago today a guild was created with the idea of being everlasting in one game known as Lord of the Rings Online. Well, we got the evertlasting part down but the one game thing kind of went into the crapper. Its been an amazing journey with a great bunch of people. The people in this guild exemplify the meaning of teamwork. Conviction is the home to many very high skilled gamers with selfless attitudes that would do anything for one another to push the guild to the next level. We have had many successes in various games but no matter what we are playing the same holds true, we are here for the guild, we are here for Conviction.
I wont dwell on the past of all our epic adventures as a group the past three years, I want to focus on building for the next three and what we can do to improve and continue to grow. It amazes me to this day that I can look back 3 years ago and still see many of the faces that helped mold what this guild is today. As a leader I must say Im incredibly lucky to have the officers that I do. They are the most loyal, dedicated and sometimes frustrating group of people I have ever had a chance to work with building a guild. Even the members of this guild are considered leaders in their own right and work hard at maintaining our structure and level of competitiveness.
In conclusion, like I told Shad when we came back and were playing with another guild, I cant imagine playing anywhere else with any other tag.

Comments2 Here at Conviction we provide the guild with all necessary enchants on gear to our members and recruits free of cost. Of course our enchanters rarely get a break from de'ing items and here is the reason most rage quit.

For the record there is only 82 stoneguard bands so you cant drop enchanting...
